Description
In this class, we will explore various techniques for decorating the surfaces of ceramic forms, including carving (sgraffiato), slip trailing (drawing), and inlay (mishima). We will also learn how to make duplicate forms, each with unique surface decoration. Finally, we will learn how to make specialized tools out of readily available inexpensive or free materials.
