Restorative Yoga (Breathe with Comfort Moon Yoga)

RESTORATIVE YOGA offers access to deep levels of relaxation and stress relief. Each class teaches supported Hatha yoga postures using props such as blankets, blocks and eye pillows (props provided). A Restorative class provides an opportunity to bring openness and release to the body without the painful 'edge' associated with most forms of yoga. It is especially beneficial to women as many poses help with the menstrual cycle, relieve the stresses of pregnancy and help to balance the hormones for women in menopause. However, all bodies, including those experiencing chronic pain or recovering from an injury or illness, can benefit from Restorative yoga. The supported poses offer an alternative or modified way to practice yoga, especially if the student is stressed or fatigued.
