Description
Confused by your GPS receiver? Considering purchasing a GPS? This hands-on class, taught by the US Geological Survey, demonstrates how to take command of your GPS and confidently use it with a topographic map. Instruction includes GPS setup, capturing waypoints, working with coordinates, and waypoint navigation. Bring your GPS and owner's manual, all other material is provided. A 30 minute break will be provided. Class is limited to 30 participants and costs $10. Nine spare receivers are available for loan. Be prepared for outside training. Registration and payment only at REI Denver Flagship Customer Service. For information, call (303) 756-3100.
