Christmas is coming and Vahé's life is going to pieces. He works with his father in the family store, but it is soon going to shut down. There are too many unpaid debts. Lu Ann, who'd been living with him for some years, has just left him. And he senses that the scams he and his friend Sahak and his brother Toros have been running aren't leading anywhere good. Yuen, Lu Ann's brother, enters France illegally and refuses to work for the network who smuggled him in. Vahé decides to take him in hand and to sort out the problems that Yuen so stubbornly seems to seek out. Without wanting to, Yuen will force Vahé to act and to cross the line. And then life tries to take its usual course, as though nothing has happened. But since the breakup with Lu Ann, Yuen's disappearance and his friends' betrayal of him, something has snapped in Vahé. Something that he can no longer control and that will lead him to go too far. In French with English subtitles. The film will be followed by a reception.

A Lebanese French immigrant is forced to choose between the street hustling life with which he's familiar and the Chinese French woman he loves in this "multicultural riff on Mean Streets" (EYE Weekly). In order to woo the beautiful Lu Ann (Linh Dan Pham), Vahe (Pascal Elbe) throws his support behind the woman's crooked brother (Teng Fei Xiang), thereby angering the tough-nosed members of his gang.
