Walking Event: Eastern Shore Gem

Daylight Hours Only 8 AM-4PM. Walkbox on porch. Gallery open most afternoons. Walkers should bring water. The trail is 11 Km and has a 1+ rating. The trail uses city sidewalks and the shoulder of generally rural roads to pass scenic Choptank River views, historic homes, period museums (The Rural Life Museum and the Denton Maritime Museum) , the Caroline County Courthouse and flavorful Town of Denton. Watts Creek and Choptank River exposures at Martinak State Park offer chances to experience scenes as depicted by James Michener's "Chesapeake". Sports strollers can navigate the trail.
