NCTA Training Workshops for Teachers
Dr. Harold Tanner from the Department of History in conjunction with the Confucius Institute at UT Dallas offers five exciting free workshops this fall with topics ranging from Women in China, Using Art and Literature to teach Chinese Culture and History, and China and its Neighbors. These workshops are geared towards high school teachers who teach and incorporate Asia and China into their lectures.
Date of the workshops are Sep 12, Oct 3, Oct 7, Nov 14, and Dec 12. Each workshop is about 7 hours, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is mandatory and more information as well as a registration form can be found on the Department of History's website at http://www.hist.unt.edu/news.htm
