I wish the demands would start over after an event has been received.... or a new demand was created at least.

My son Brian(who is blind, & 11yrs. old), knows Wil's voice from an audio book called,"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". So Brian would LOVE to ask Wil questions about doing audio books and also about his career. So PLEASE come to Boston and we'll hook up. Maybe if you do comic-cons here, Brian can get to you.

Everyone -- please be sure to continue spreading the word for Wil's event this Sunday. It'd be awesome to have 300+ people there! But it'll only happen of each and every one of you emails 3-5 of your friends/family/contacts to try to get more people to attend. Here's hoping that Wil's event is a huge success!

Totally awesome! Congrats Wil, and congrats to all the folks who signed up and made this happen. This is a historic moment -- the first Eventful Demand to turn into an event. Two months from the day we launched Eventful Demand, too! Power to the people!

Brookline Booksmith has room in the theatre across the street, and they're hoping to put together a screening of Stand By Me in conjunction with my appeareance, if they can get a 35mm print. We've scheduled the event for July 2, at noon (with the movie) or at 1 (if the movie can't happen.) Admission to cover the cost of the theater is between 2 and 5 bucks. More details will be on my blog when I have them. Thank you, everyone, who helped make this happen, both by joining the demand, and by sharing advice on where to look for book stores n town. See you all in July!

I wonder if any of these bookstores can really handle 200 people? It'd be a shame to have to turn people away. Might be time to think about an auditorium or somesuch?

Pandemonium books is the best geeky book store in the Boston area. It has a geek following so if you chose that spot and they put up a flyer, you will most likely get a huge crowd. Just my 2 cents. Also, they are moving to a new place with more room so an event like this would be a cool new location opener. http://www.pandemoniumbooks.com/index2.html

token writes: Absolutely anything. Seriously...crap. You want more of a description then that? Fine...be that way.

Whether it is a sketch comedy performance, a reading from one of his books, a political rant, or just one more look at him in this sweater...it would be great to see this completely underappreciated artist in person.
