    Yays! I'm there. Book fort tip: start with boxed sets at the bottom, then fortify with some Stephen R. Donaldson and the thicker Harry Potter books. Then you have a good base for Just A Geek ramparts and Happiest Days facing.

    You're getting this message because you joined a demand to bring me to San Diego, and the awesome patrol at Mysterious Galaxy is making it happen on Saturday, May 3.

    Starting at 2pm, I'll be reading and signing copies of my newest book, The Happiest Days of Our Lives. I understand that MG will have my other books as well, so we can all work together to build a cool book fort.

    Comic-Con is a zoo; if it were up to me I'd much rather it be a Wil-only event at some nice cozy venue, with comfortable chairs, wi-fi, etc.

    Conciding with Comic-Con is OK, but I'd prefer a venue that was less crazy.

    Maybe Wil could come down for Comic-con. I know he wanted to get away from con for a while, but this might be a great time for a return.

    Wil let me know that he views "critical mass" as 100 to 150 people demanding him in a given city. We're about 20% of the way there. Be sure to get the word out! Add a sticker to your blog, and email everyone you know who would like to see Wil give a talk here in San Diego.

    You have a point there, Brian. I suggested MG because I knew they'd agree if a book was involved, but an auditorium would take away that requirement. Wil has some new stuff to read (and perhaps even chapbooks to sign/sell), so there's no reason not to have it sooner.
