Mike Huckabee is out to show people the American dream is still alive. The former Arkansas governor recently formed a 2008 presidential exploratory committee because he feels the country needs a reawakening and a leadership to address an array of issues, including how to improve the nation's infrastructure, education system, environmental policy and failing health care system. In the past year, Huckabee visited nearly 30 states to campaign for Republican candidates and conservative causes — and to share his message of vertical politics that he says reflects American values and priorities. As you know, the Vertical Politics Institute is dedicated to finding solutions to the many challenges our nation faces today. We will focus on the following issues: Tax Reform, Energy Independence, Controlling Spending, Health Care Reform, Arts and Education, Sanctity of Life, Traditional Marriage, Environment and National Security.
You can also expect the Vertical Politics Institute to take the lead in fighting across the nation for our ideas wherever they are challenged. We will support specific ballot initiatives such as Proposition 8 in California. We will also bring policy experts, academics, citizens and bloggers together to help further the discussion and craft solutions and new ideas.
