Description
The 24 yr old Long Beach native was raised by a single mother. Having no father figure in the picture only made him stronger in ways no person could guide. Having to raise himself, Understand learned how to be a man at such a young age. Taking roads kids his age would never see. Doing what he had to do to survive Understand was not a stranger with the law. In and out of juvenile detention centers in California Understand quickly filled his free time with writing rhymes at the age of 12.
While learning the technique of rhyming and trying to control the ways that got him in trouble. Understand constantly battled taking the same road that had him caged from the very start. Being able to write down what he is feeling, Understand grew to control the wrongs and rights and put them into a pen and a notebook.
"I speak on real accounts what I either did or what Ive seen you can't do it all you know, but on the songs that have the most depth and emotion in them just might be the truth and reality of whats happened in my life. If what I say seems real to you then real recognizes real" Understand stated. With now having a child and goal to do for him what his father never did and linking up with well known producer Mister KA. Understand is not going anywhere. If anything, the term "understand" will have a whole new meaning.
