To learn more about Thomas and his book "Things Forgotten" visit www.pearlgate.org Thomas Tabback was born in North Carolina while his father was stationed with the Army at Fort Bragg. Later, his parents moved to Arizona where he grew up and discovered his passion for writing at an early age. When he was 12, he wrote his first short story and never put down the pen. After carving out a successful 11-year career in the pharmacy healthcare industry, Thomas walked away from corporate life to realize his life-long dream. With his debut novel, Things Forgotten, Thomas ambitiously tells a story centered over 3200 years ago, the period of the Israelite Conquest of Canaan. It is a tale of the timeless struggle between good and evil, and the parallels between the lives of ancient peoples and those of us today. Together with his passion for ancient and biblical history, these are the themes that have shaped Thomas as a writer over the last two decades. His writing style is steeped in rich history and the essence of the human spirit, qualities that will surely linger with his readers. In December 2008, Thomas also completed writing Joe The Plumber - Fighting for the American Dream. Thomas began his collaboration with Samuel J. ÃÂ"JoeÃÂ" Wurzelbacher shortly after the third and final 2008 Presidential Debate. He witnessed, firsthand, the perpetual media blitz, the revelation of the Ohio State illegal violation of Joe's privacy, his meeting with Sarah Palin, and his ride aboard John McCain's Straight Talk Express. Together with his profoundly penetrating writing style and his eyewitness perspective, Thomas vividly captures We The People's struggle to sustain the American Dream. In April 2009, Thomas, his wife and his four children sold or gave away all of their material belongings, including their home, and set out for the open road--Full Time! Their Purpose: To wake America up to the true threat of the government monarchy that threatens everything We The People hold dear. Thomas emphasizes that our conflict for liberty is not about politics or ideology, but begins and ends with One Nation Under GOD. Everything that is wrong in America can be summed up in these simple, yet powerful words. His message carries forth lessons We The People can learn from biblical history and what must be done to restore our blessed nation. Amidst the national health care debate, Thomas has also sparked an ambitious project to bring together a Free Market health care solution for AmericaÃÂ's uninsured, underinsured and small businesses, called We The People Health. This project hearkens to a call Thomas has made from the beginning that "We The People must cease to place our faith in the institutions of government, and do for ourselves and for one another in times of need." First and foremost, Thomas is an author who has embraced the ultimate purpose for which he was born--The Written Word. Thus, Thomas is fast at work on his anticipated sequel to Things Forgotten, which he has entitled Rebellion, due out Spring/Summer 2010 (get on the prerelease notification list). When their path of purpose leads them back home, Thomas, his wife of 13 years and their four children will most likely return to the beautiful Hill Country of Austin, Texas.
