It is great to enjoy moonlight shimmering on the water and to view our spectacular sunsets from a paddle board. An easy and casual Full Moon Paddle around Deerfield Island Park. Enjoy making new friends as we cruise through multimillion dollar neighborhoods and see why South Florida is called the "Venice of America."

Deerfield Island is a 53.3-acre nature-oriented park that offers outdoor recreational opportunities and environmental education. Accessible only by boat, this roughly triangular-shaped park is bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway and the Hillsboro and Royal Palm canals.

Reservations are highly encouraged to guarantee a spot if you need to rent a baord.

Bring Your Own Board Option:
If you have your own board, the Coast Guard requires you to have a life jacket, whisle, and white flashlight. If you do not have these, you may be able to rent them from Island Water Sports, subject to availability. If you have your own board, registration is not required but still encouraged.

Online Waiver:

We require a completed waiver for every participant. If the student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian will need to complete the waiver. We only need the waiver completed one time.

1. What time are the tours?
   Tour times vary by season. Current start time is 6:00pm
   
   
2. Why do I need to register online?
   Our stand up paddle tours are very popular and we must limit the number of participants per event.  Registration guarantees your spot in the class.
   
   
3. What is the cost?
   The cost is $30 per person. Boards and instructors are provided.
   
   
4. Where do we meet?
   We meet at the store: IWS, 1985 NE 2nd Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441
   
   
5. What if registration is closed online?
   Registration will close when the maximum number of participants is reached.
   
   
6. How many participants are in the tour?
   There is an average of 10 people per tour.
   
   
7. What skill level is needed to participate in the tour?
   The tours are designed for beginners but still fun for experienced paddleboarders.
   
   
8. What should I bring with me?
   Beach wear is recommend as you may get wet (bathing suite/ board shorts and for the colder days, a wet suite top). Also, bring a towel and extra t-shirt to change into is optional.
   
   
9. What paperwork is involved?
   You will need to bring a driver's license and credit card to complete a rental agreement form at the store. The credit card will only be charged if the equipment is lost, broken, stolen, etc. You will also need to complete a waiver either online or at the store.
