What to do? If you've been following their comical cultural adjustments to American life, you can anticipate some hilarious situations in "Shoufou Alwawa Wayn" when they face foreclosure and a host of related money problems. "Shoufou Alwawa Wayn," by AJYAL Theatrical Group, will be performed in 2011-2012 in many cities in the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East. AJYAL Theatrical Group, the first Arab-American theatre group in North America, has been in existence since 1988, staging many comedy productions over the years. Most of AJYAL Theatrical Group shows poke fun at the everyday lives of Arab-Americans who are desperately trying to blend into the mainstream of American culture. The plays serve as a forum to help people laugh at their mistakes and mishaps but also to come to terms with social issues facing Arab-Americans.
