We gather to discuss the events and impact of the Civil War, and to share stories and other details about the events. We also try to examine one or more books. In September, we will be looking at the sequence of events in the war, and looking at a review of Vicksburg, 1863, by Winston Grooms. And yes, Grooms is also the author of the Forrest Gump saga. We will also have refreshments to entice you.
