About the class: Instructors at Practice work with you through an exercise repertoire that challenges strength and flexibility to create a strong and healthy body. Focusing on the five basic principals highlighted in the Stott approach to the Pilates method, instructors guide you through exercises that utilize your body weight as well as small props to help you increase strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and body awareness. About the teacher: Patrick has been teaching Pilates in Ohio since 2003, garnering over 5,000 hours of instruction with a wide variety of clients. He trained and certified first with Pendleton Pilates in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2003. Since then Patrick has continued to deepen his understanding of the Pilates Method through training with STOTT PILATES and is now Dayton's only studio owner fully certified in STOTT PILATES Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair & Barrels. He has additionally completed training in injuries and special populations. Patrick is also a trained TRX instructor. His personal practices include Pilates, strength training, running, meditation, eating well, and yoga when he can squeeze in a class! Patrick loves his work, especially when he can help his clients exceed the goals they've established in their practices.
