Event details: Ohio Liberty Film Festival
Description
Opening Day: "Saving Private Ryan", The Neon Movies at 2pm on November 11. The film will be introduced by Lt. General Dick Reynolds, former Aeronautical Systems Commander. Following an opening day reception, the keynote film, "The Birth of Freedom", produced by the Action Institute, will be shown at the Neon Movies at 7:30pm. Renowned author, lecturer and American History professor Dr. Larry Schweikart will introduce the film.
November 12, 2009: The film, "Ultimate Resouce", produced by Free to Choose, depicts economic achievements in five countries. 4pm at The Dublin Pub.
November 13, 2009: "The Birth of Freedom" will be shown again at 4pm at the Dayton Engineer's Club with sponsorship by Standard Register Foundation. This showing will have participation from students of local high schools.
November 14, 2009: There will be a matinee showing of "Papillon" at The Dayton Engineer's Club.
November 15, 2009: The final Ohio Liberty Film Festival offering will be a 3pm showing of "The Mission", a rich award-winning film about efforts to resist slavery in 17th century South America. The Neon Movies will be showing this film at 3pm and will be followed by a reception.
