January "Wine Down" Tasting at the Melting Pot Restaurant

Based on the survey that many of you filled out at the last tasting you all voted for going to the Melting Pot Restaurant. I picked Tuesday night because we can get half price wines by the bottle! So bundle up next month and join me for an evening of ambiance and fondue! Let's get through the holiday stress and wine down at the Melting Pot together! Join your fellow wine lovers on Tuesday, January 13th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Optional dinner afterwards.......see description below. We'll pair 2 whites with Cheese Fondue and 2 reds with Chocolate....yummy! If you have not been to the Melting Pot before I believe you will really enjoy this one! Menu: Traditional Swiss Cheese Fondue with fresh breads, vegetables and apples for dipping Paired with: Sauvignon Blanc Provenance Vineyards Rutherford 2007 Clos du Val Chardonnay Carneros 2006 "Yin & Yang" Chocolate Fondue - A blend of white and dark chocolate with strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, marshmallows, pound cake, and browinies for dipping Paired with: Cabernet Sauvignon Cosentino "The Cab" 2005 Petite Sirah Concannon "Limited Release" Central Coast 2005 Cost: $25.00 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity Must reserve in advance through this site and I'm now collecting the money through Amazon so I don't have to stress out with "no shows". It will have you register your email address through Amazon but you can just put in a credit card or use your Amazon account if you have one. Pretty easy....I've already used it! ALSO - If you are interested in continuing on your fondue journey following the tasting the Melting Pot will offer all bottles of wine at half price as well as the following 2 specially priced menus: "Land and Sea" - A collection of Balsamic marinated sirloin, marinated breast of chivcken and white shrimp, and Fresh Vegetables. $19 per person plus tax and gratuity. Lobster Indulgence - Twin Lobster Tails, Cedar Plank Salmon, BBQ Pork Tenderloin, Key West Shrimp, Honey Dijon Chicken, Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, and Fresh Vegetables. $29 per person plus tax and gratuity. If you are planning to do the dinner option, just contact the melting pot at 937-567-8888 with your name and number in the party. If want to sit together with other Wine Lovers in Dayton diners just specify that. If you want to be "alone" that's fine too! They have some romantic seating in the "lovers lane" section! As always we'll have some kind of random drawing(s) and I'm researching some options to show on the screen in the private room. i.e....wine making, wine movie, etc. Any ideas??
