The classically-trained African American musicians of Imani Winds stand out for their exceptional musicianship - but also for their commitment to a genre of music many have left behind in pursuit of pop fame and fortune. These musicians have taught at places like the Julliard and the Manhattan School of Music, and played for the great orchestras of the world. Join these musicians for great food and conversation and explore the topic together. Presented by the University of Dayton Arts Series, this free program is part of the Career Conversations Series supported by a grant from Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies.

Imani Winds will present a performance as part of the UD Arts Series on Wednesday, February 22, 8 pm at Kennedy Union Boll Theatre.
