196th Anniversary of Battle of Horseshoe Bend at Horseshoe Bend National Military Park
Attend this festival of culture and history on the grounds of Alabama's first national park. All activities are free. Creek hunting camps, military camps, demonstrations of dance, cannonfire, and more. Living history demonstrators available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special presentations every hour on the hour. Bookstore, orientation film, exhibits, restrooms, picnic area. Concession stand available for light lunch. Explore park via Tour Road and by foot on 2.8 mile Nature Trail.
