Davidson College invites the public to an evening of comic opera Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23. Guest stage director Ellen Schlaefer guides Davidson students as they perform scenes from operas by Rossini, Mozart, Pasatieri, Menotti, and Donizetti, with Michael Rowland as accompanist. There is no charge for the performance, which begins in Tyler-Tallman Hall of Sloan Music Center at 7:30 p.m. on November 22 and 3:00 p.m. on November 23. Call 704-894-2848 for information.
