The Davidson College Music Department invites the public to a cello concert on Sunday, February 26. Alan Black, artist associate at Davidson and principal cellist for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, will perform Max Reger’s Solo Cello Suite in D Minor and Chopin’s Cello Sonata in G Minor. Black will be accompanied by pianist Dana Protopopescu. There is no charge to attend the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in Tyler-Tallman Hall of the Sloan Music Center.
