Art Exhibition
Davidson College invites the public to the photography exhibition, “Beloved Daughters: Photographs by Fazal Sheikh,” which continues at the college through December 19. The exhibit includes about 150 photographs documenting dispossessed widows who travel to the Indian holy city of Vrindavan to reach heaven, and perils faced by girls and young women in the changing conditions of modern India. There is no charge to attend the exhibition, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. For more information, call 704-894-2519.
