The Uniphonics w/Big Zay FUNK / HIP-HOP / JAZZ
In May 2007, The Uniphonics formed out of the Iowa City music scene to compete in Euforquestra's Battle of the Bands for a performance slot at the annual music festival, Camp Euforia. Since then, they have toured in support of their Truth Be Told EP and have been well received in many venues and festivals across the Midwest. Their debut full length album will be released in the Spring of 2010.
Imagine a sound that consolidates a plethora of musical styles into a tightly wound booty groove. Innovative jazz-funk infused hip-hop combined with MC Animosity's passionate lyrics creates a dance party atmosphere for everyone. Expect an interactive high energy performance that breaks the barrier between the musicians and audience. Join the rest of The Uniphonics Family and become a part of the show.
