A Night on the Town! East Bay Awards 2012

The Bay Area Leadership Foundation will host its 11th Annual East Bay Awards on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville CA. This year's gala, A Night on the Town, raises funds for our scholarship fund and high school mentoring program. The event will honor the best of the East Bay's philanthropic citizens. ABC-TV's Dan Ashley is master of ceremonies for the black-tie benefit, which features a VIP cocktail reception, dinner, awards ceremony, silent and live auctions 6PM - Cocktails/Silent Auction opens 7PM - Dinner/Awards Ceremony Join us for a spectacular evening to honor the work of dedicated leaders committed to making our communities better places to work and live. Step back into the glamorous nightclubs of the 1950s, where the famous and infamous mingled in a gilt-edged atmosphere. Don your retro best, and enjoy a classic martini bar, delicious food and wine, and the lively music of the day. About the Foundation: Our mission is simple: to provide economically disadvantaged youth with the support and resources to move through high school and college, become productive members of their local communities, and in turn give back to the next generation of students. For over a decade, we have provided academic mentorship, coaching, career exposure, and financial support for college to students in Oakland, San Jose, Pittsburg, Vallejo, Emeryville, and Richmond.
