Registration is open for the Ocean Institute’s Neptune’s Mysteries summer camp, a week-long, full-day ocean education experience for children ages 6-7. There are nine camps during summer 2012, beginning on each of the following dates: June 25, July 9, 16, 23 & 30, August 6, 13, 20 & 27, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
Become a Sherlock Holmes of the oceans by uncovering the mysteries of the deep! Each day is filled with a different mystery to solve such as the case of the Kid-Knapped Crab, the mystery of the Wandering Whale and the case of the Missing Mussel. Campers will use scientific tools and techniques to solve a week’s worth of underwater mysteries. Highlights include exploring the Dana Point Marine Protected Area and a cruise on board the R/V Sea Explorer. So come join us for a fun-filled week of new puzzles to unravel, themed crafts and exploration of our onsite marine animals!
Cost: Payment required - $270 per child (Ocean Institute members $240). August 27th is a four-day camp; cost is $220 (or $195 for members).
