The Dallas Zoo offers a day-long photo safari and workshop led by staff photographer Cathy Burkey. Participants will take a four-hour guided tour of animal habitats selected to offer the best opportunities for photographers. Following the safari, the afternoon workshop on June 9 is led by Jeremy Woodhouse of Pixelchrome who will present "Through the Eyes of a Wildlife Photographer." Each safari/workshop takes place from 8am until 4pm and focuses on various aspects of nature and animal photography. The cost for Zoo members is $125 and $150 for non-members, which includes a continental breakfast and boxed lunch. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 469 554 7423.
