Uptown Netweavers AM Express Meetup

Uptown Netweavers (lunch) and AM Express (breakfast) are here to help YOU build YOUR business! We all know that the most cost-effective means of promoting your business is word-of-mouth, but most professionals go about this in the wrong (and usually most expensive) ways. Here is your chance to build your business the old fashioned way, with people getting to know YOU, what YOU do and who YOU are looking to meet. These meetings foster those introductions as people get to know you, like you and refer you to their friends, family and business contacts. This meeting is not for the timid or late-risers, though. We start sign-ins at 7am, with the meeting promptly starting at 7:30 and ending at 8:30 to get you on your way! If the boss has an issue, tell him/her that you are helping build THEIR business too! Meetings will follow the same format as other Netweavers groups around DFW: *30-second introductions around the room *5-minute business spotlight *Thank you's for leads/referrals, introductions, 1:1 meetings, etc The emphasis in "this" group versus many other networking type groups is the emphasis on personal contact. True netweaving is in the 1:1 meetings that we encourage...and even require if you are going to be an "official" member (and therefore have exclusivity for your profession in the group). TO BECOME A MEMBER, you must complete the following three assignments: 1) Attend 7 meetings (need not be consecutive) 2) Have 7 one-on-one meetings with those in the group (3 of which are with Founding Members) 3) Bring (not just "invite") 7 guests Once you have completed these, you can fill out an application that the founding members will review to determine your possible member position in the group, which will then grant you exclusivity for your particular business/profession. The rest is now up to you, but the growth of our lunch group has been exponential. Point being, don't wait too long to come in as someone else from your profession may already be getting the "jump" on membership via attendance!
