The Kooks
The Kooks are an English indie rock band from Brighton, England. Formed in 2004, the band currently consists of Luke Pritchard (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Hugh Harris (lead guitar), Paul Garred (drums) and Peter Denton (bassist).[1] Taking their name from the David Bowie song "Kooks" the band were signed to Virgin Records after just three months of performing locally around Brighton.[2] The Kooks achieved chart success with their first single Eddie’s Gun which reached number thirty nine on the UK Singles Chart.
