The Latino Cultural Center is the realization of vision that Dallas citizens have fostered. These citizens desire a City facility that would artistically, respectfully, and authentically reflect and represent the Latino community's rich historical culture. The VISION of the Latino Cultural Center is to provide artists, cultural organizations and the Latino community with the facilities and opportunities to develop and celebrate the unique cultural talents and gifts. The Center will present opportunities for education and experience in quality visual, literary, media and traditional arts. The center will provide a venue and workspace for artists. The MISSION of the Latino Cultural Center is to serve as a catalyst for the preservation, development and promotion of Latino and Hispanic arts and culture in Dallas. Effective beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2003, The Latino Cultural Center Hours are: Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. Access to the facility is free however admission may be required to some events.
