Sunday Salsa Classes (starting a new session)

Salsa Sundays start a new session on July 26 We have 4 salsa classes on Sunday!!! (We have two instructors too!!) 4pm Beginner Salsa On1 (LA Style) 4pm Intermediate-Advance Salsa On1 5pm Beginner Salsa On2 (New York Style) 5pm Intermediate-Advance Salsa On2 (What's the difference? See an explanation here.) If you have some salsa experience, you may want to stick to the On1 class. If you have New York or Puerto Rican roots, try On2. If you're brand new, pick any! It's a six-week session and you can either sign up for the whole thing (for a discount), or pay as you go at each class. The beginner courses are open for registration the first and second weeks, the intermediate-advanced classes have rolling admission- Drop in anytime. (And did we mention we provide you with water and ice cream?) Pre-requisites for beginner class: None. No experience needed, no partner needed. Good attitude encouraged. Pre-requisites for int/adv class: Knowledge of the basic step, right turn, cross body lead, and inside turn. In this class you will learn more complex turn patterns, better lead and follow technique, styling, and multiple spins. If you have not pre-paid for the class, please bring cash or check as we cannot take credit cards at the door. What to wear: Something comfortable. If you sweat, bring a towel. Wear deodorant. A smile. Oh yeah, and shoes: if you have dance shoes, cool.
