benefiting Dallas Summer Musicals and their Outreach and Educational Programs
Event Name: 2009 Curtain Call 5th Anniversary
Benefiting: Proceeds from Curtain Call support Dallas Summer Musicals' mission to bring the best of Broadway to Dallas and provide for children's education and outreach programs. Sponsors support will bring the magic of musical theater to so many children who otherwise would never experience it — magic created through programs such as Seatsfor Kids, DSM Academy of Performing Arts, Kids Club, and Stage Right.

Performer: Dionne Warwick has, over an illustrious four-decade career, established herself as an international musical legend. Her reputation as a hit maker has been firmly etched into public consciousness, thanks to nearly sixty charted hits. As a performer, she has charmed and entertained audiences on every continent, amassing a worldwide audience. Songs like "Do You Know The Way To San Jose," "This Girl's In Love With You," and "I'll Never Fall In Love Again," have bookmarked Dionne Warwick’s page in the American songbook.
The evening: In commemoration of its fifth anniversary, Curtain Call 2009 is a spectacular evening of entertainment preceded by an elegant seated dinner and an exceptional live and silent auction. It will be agrand celebration of sights, sounds, and festivities. Expect fine dining,exceptional entertainment and elegant ambiance. Cap off the evening bydancing the night away at our new Curtain Call Cabaret late night party.

Tickets: Naming opportunities and underwriting is available, beginning at $5,000. Individual tickets are $500 each. Concert and Cabaret after party only, $225 each.
About Dallas Summer Musicals: Winner of 4 Tony Awards®, 2 Drama Desk Awards® and 2 Dallas Fort Worth Theatre Critics Forum Awards, Dallas Summer Musicals is now celebrating its 69th season. DSM is the largest producer of live theatrical entertainment in the Southwest, the second oldest summer theatre organization in the United States and the sixth largest non-profit theatre company. DSM has been entertaining North Texas audiences with the finest in live, musical theatre since 1941.
In addition to presenting national Broadway tours, DSM also produces shows on Broadway, presents and tours local productions, and is involved in developing new works. Dallas Summer Musicals’ affiliates include DSM Management Group, Inc. (DSMMGI), which manages the Music Hall at FairPark, the historical Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas and the remodeled historical Texas Theater, scheduled to open in 2009.
As a non-profit organization, DSM relies on a variety of funding sources to bring the Best of Broadway to Dallas at affordable ticket prices, as well as to preserve the beautiful historic theatres, educate young audiences and create important community programs.
