Following the footsteps of great-grandfather, grandfather, and dad, it only seems fitting that Bart Crow would end up making music his life. Raised by his parents, Lee and Beverly Maypearl, TX, life was pretty simple. His mother worked for a chemical company, while his father worked long hours running his own drywall corporation. His father played lead guitar in a dancehall band throughout the 80s, and this is where it all began. My dad had 100s of great records from people like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Bob Wills, George Strait, Lynard Skynard, and The Amazing Rhythm Aces, and I would set and listen to them for hours and h...
