2008 GROVE AWARDS

IMPORTANT: EACH TICKET HOLDER MUST ALSO BRING A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) NON-PARISHABLE FOOD ITEMS in order to be admitted. These items will be donated to the Wilkinson Center's Recently Opened Pleasant Grove Food Pantry and Poverty Prevention center.
Join us for the 1st. Annual Grove Awards, And what will most certainly be the start of an amazing new journey for Pleasant Grove. A journey fueled by change in the highest office in the land, and change that has begun, right here in Pleasant Grove.  This Academy Awards themed event will celebrate and honor those in our community who have gone over and above for the preservation and improvement of Pleasant Grove. Music, performances, speakers and MULTI-MEDIA presentations will not only highlight how far we have come but inspire us to believe in how far we can go. In these difficult times, our strenght, our safety and our future, rely on our ability to laugh together, cry together, cheer together, give thanks together and most of all S.T.A.N.D. together. On January 20th, 2009, change is coming to America with the inauguration of President Barrack Obama, on January 23rd, 2009, change is coming to Pleasant Grove. You may not be able to attend the inauguration, but you certainly are welcome to attend an equally historic event taking place right here in Pleasant Grove... the 2008 GROVE AWARDS!

EVENT ACTIVITIES / INFORMATION:
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET HOLDERS:
Doors for
GENERAL ADMISSION ticket holders open at 7:30 PM. THE AWARDS SHOW
begins at 8 PM and ends  at approximately 10:30 pm. Table seating is
available on a first come, first served basis. Non-alchoholic beverages
available for sale. Snack items may or may not be available for
purchase, therefore we recommend having dinner before you arrive. For a

VIP TICKET HOLDERS:
Doors for VIP TICKET HOLDERS
open at 7 PM for a VIP reception with other VIP Ticket holders, invited
Celebrity guests, community leaders and award nominees. The  Reception
includes complimentary wine and horsdevoures, special VIP only silent
auction items, gift bags, and reserved table seating for the AWARDS
SHOW portion of the event from 8 PM to approximately 10:30 PM.
SILENT AUCTION & CAR RAFFLE:
In addition to the traditional items you are used to, we will also have some of the most unique silent auction items you have ever seen: Promises made by children from the Pleasant Grove Community will be auctioned off. Promises to stay drug free, attend school, get good grades and more. A portion of each winning bid wil be given to the child if the promise is kept. What is a promise from a child to stay drug free for 6 months, worth to you? Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
We will also be raffling off a brand new 2009 Toyota Camry LE Sedan, fully loaded. Tickets are only $20 and are already on sale at www.defyraffle.com.
