January 20-February 12, 2009
Kick off the new year with the Bosque Gallery’s Visiting Artist Exhibition Kate Borcherding: Recent Works, set Tuesday, Jan.20 through Thursday, Feb.12.
This Visiting Artist Exhibition features the work of Houston area artist and Sam Houston State University professor in the media of printmaking and mixed media.
The exhibition includes a gallery talk set at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22 followed at 4.30 p.m. with an opening reception. The gallery talk will include a discussion of Borcherding’s work, the SHSU art program and transferring from LSC-CyFair into the SHSU art program as well as other four-year institutions.
The Bosque Gallery is located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
