The 12th Annual Mickelson Trail Trek will take the riders through the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. On this 3-day ride the cyclist will see landscapes that will blow them away by their beaurty, from the plains in the southern hills to the pine and aspen stands that cover the moutains in the northern hills. The Mickelson Trail is a Rails-to-Trails project built on the abandoned rail line of the Burlington, Northern, Santa Fe that ran from Edgemont to Deadwood from early 1890- 1983. This 109 mile ride will be a memorable experience for all riders. Even though the ride takes the cyclist through the Black Hills the grade of the trail is never over 3%, which makes for an enjoyable ride.
The Mickelson Trail Trek 3-day ride costs $170 per rider.
