What: Sound Healing When: Monday January 12h 700 – 900 PM Where: Cost : $20 Learn to use sound to heal yourself and others Have you ever wondered how sound affects the body, not to mention the mind and your outlook on life. You might be surprised to learn that sound has been used for healing throughout the ages. Almost everyone uses music to affect their mood. It is time to return to our roots and also go to the next level and use focused sound to improve your overall health and wellbeing. Bob Brown will lead you on a journey to explore and discover various techniques to heal yourself and others with sound. You will: • Learn to focus sound to bring about healing using your voice and instruments • Practice healing with sound on others • Experience a shift in your energy and receive a healing of your mind, body, and spirit by Bob and the other participants • Have fun while expanding your awareness and improving your wellbeing No musical experience is required. Please bring the musical instruments that you would like to work with, although some instruments will be provided for your use. Bob Brown has been playing the Native American flute for more than 8 years. He learned to heal with sound while living in Machu Picchu, Peru; where he worked with shamans to enhance his awareness and healing abilities. He is an intuitive healer and improvisational musician. Bob has played his flutes in hospitals and nursing homes to bring peace and healing to the residents. In 2006, he released “Remember The Fall”, a CD of healing flute music that will be available for purchase at the workshop. Come join in on a fun learning adventure with sound that will expand your ideas and use of sound and music.
