On October 25 at 10PM, Uncle Eddie and Robin will perform at Dante’s, located at 16 W. Main Street in Frostburg.
Uncle Eddie, with his silky vocals, intelligent, witty songwriting and wildly imaginative banjo playing make him a joy to hear. He blends elements of bluegrass, country, rock, blues, and folk into a unique and original style, which he sometimes refers to as “plunk rockâ€. To this mix add Robin's crisp, imaginative harmonies, sultry lead vocals, and engaging stage persona, and you have a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Through Ed's recent cutting-edge explorations with WV's premier jam band "The Recipe", the hard-core traditional bluegrass of the "Short Crick Flatpickers", and numerous appearances on the "Wheeling Jamboree", he has respected and preserved the rich musical traditions of the region while keeping it alive and evolving by taking it to new and unexpected places...Graffiti Magazine
