Dear  Kirk Douglas Theatre patron,

I have some important news about our  planned production of Heddatron. Â  Due to current economic realities, this production has been postponed indefinitely.

This was a tough decision. Heddatron is an exceptionally creative play, but it's expensive and we are clearly  experiencing financial challenges that other local and national non-profit arts  organizations are feeling with this unprecedented global economic downturn.

In consultation with our board of  directors, we are continuing to trim our budgets and carefully plan for the  next season so that we can safely ride out this bad economic cycle. 

We have returned your ticket to Heddatron and created a credit on your  CTG account that you can use toward the purchase of tickets to any of our three  CTG theatres. Below is a quick rundown of your options for using the  credit. Please contact our friendly Audience Services staff  at 213-628-2772 for further information.

Ways  to use your Heddatron credit:

Share  the love!  Purchase additional tickets  to a show you are already seeing and take a friend. 

We  want you back!  Apply this credit to your 2009-2010  Douglas season tickets. We can't tell you what the plays are just yet,  but we've got some great shows coming your way.

Be  adventurous!  Purchase tickets to another  CTG show that is not part of your subscription.  Check out what's  happening at the Ahmanson Theatre or the Mark Taper Forum.  Or apply this  credit to a season ticket plan at either theatre.  Either way, we have  lots of options for you.

Give  back!  Help CTG's artistic efforts  by donating the cost of the tickets back to us and obtain a tax letter.
