I have lived in Courtland, Alabama for my entire 58 years on this earth! And loved every minute of it! There could have been no better place to grow up and how many people do you know STILL go to church with many of the same people they went to high school with? Both of my sons were married in the same small church I was here in our beautiful little town. They have moved but not to far away....Tuscumbia and Killen JUST 2 other small towns just not as small as Courtland.
