REI Paddle Demo Day 2012-It's Free!

We'll provide all the gear, including paddles and PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices), so that you can check out the latest designs from Bic SUP, Current Designs, Dagger, Eddyline, Elie, eMotion, Hurricane, Mad River, Ocean Kayak, Old Town, Perception, Surftech, Wilderness Systems, and others. Whether you're a beginning or experienced paddler, this is a great opportunity to test the waters and take advantage of free paddling classes run by REI staff, REI Outdoor School instructors, and our vendors. All you'll need to bring are your personal necessities, shoes that can get wet, and the willingness to try something new. And, best of all, the whole day is free! Anyone under age 18, who wishes to paddle, must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. Each attendee will receive a coupon for 15% off the purchase of a full-price boat or paddleboard (must be purchased within one week of Paddle Demo event; other coupon exclusions apply). As with boat/paddleboard purchases made year-round, you'll also get a 15% discount on full-price paddles and PFDs. Please note: the first two hours of the event are open to REI members only.
