Third Annual South Texas Financial Aid Fair

Now more than ever is learning about how to access financial aid for college important! Applying for financial aid can be confusing, especially with the process required to access federal and other forms of aid.

All South Texas residents, including high school students and anyone thinking about pursuing higher education, are invited to join KIII and the Coastal Bend's colleges and universities--including Del Mar College, Coastal Bend College, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University-Kingsville--for the Third Annual South Texas Financial Aid Fair as part of the annual national and statewide initiative called "College Goal Sunday."

Financial aid experts from all four institutions will be on-hand to answer questions about a variety of financial aid resources that include grants, loans and work-study programs as well as to assist participants with completing worksheets and forms electronically. Families and individuals can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the form required to apply for federal financial assistance for higher education opportunities at any college or university.

Participants can access computer stations in the mobile Go Centers in the parking lot and on the second floor at KIII.

Participants need to bring their 2011 tax return and/or their parents' tax return, W-2 forms and any other household income information for either the student and/or parents.
