About the venue VEGA
VEGA is a regional venue, owned and operated by the foundation Concert Company Fund, created with the sole purpose of running concert. Parts of the Fund's music service is based on municipal and state grants.

In 2011 visited approx. 250,000 people VEGA, and the venue has been voted the best concert scene in Europe of the international music magazine Live. With three separate concert halls can VEGA present a wide music program that covers many different genres. The large concert hall, Store VEGA, has capacity for 1,550 guests, the middle floor, Lille VEGA, has room for 500, while there is room for 250 guests at Ideal Bar Live.

Furthermore, Ideal Bar at street level, which is helping to create the perfect setting for an evening out in the Copenhagen music and nightlife. VEGA has a total of 12 bars for servicing the audience and musicians. VEGA's central location in Copenhagen and the close connection to Sweden taken into account, makes the house an obvious choice when indoor concerts with international artists to be planned.

Annual runs around 250 concerts and events take place in VEGA, reflecting VEGA objective to find the right balance between new talent and more established names in rock, pop, soul, hip hop, electronic and world music as well as presenting the audience with various club concepts . VEGA's own production of concerts and events are annually represented by approx. 150 concerts, clubbing events, showcases and special events. VEGA technical equipment where special sound system is of high quality, guarantee a perfect experience.

VEGA has opened the doors for most of Scandinavia's leading artists as well as several international stars such as Prince, David Bowie, Björk, Suede, Kylie Minogue, Norah Jones, Moby, Foo Fighters, Blur and many others. Furthermore opens VEGA doors to club parties with international star DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Girl Talk, Erol Alkan, DJ Shadow and others.
