      Silent Auction Donations
During the conference we conduct a Silent Auction to raise money for a designated not-for profit organization. This year we have chosen the Special Olympics New York to receive these monies. Our donation will help raise awareness of this worthy cause which works to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-style sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through their participation in Special Olympics New York athletes gain confidence and build a positive self-image, which carries into the classroom, the home, the workplace and the community. As a Silent Auction Donor, you will receive recognition in the program distributed to attendees and on signage published at the event.

Donating an auction item provides an easy way for you to directly support NYSCEEA and the Special Olympics New York, while also receiving highly visible recognition for your support. Appropriate donation items include gift certificates, apparel, books, teambuilding resources, keepsakes and gifts, discounted trainings, and anything else you might find appropriate. Donations which require a minimum bid are welcome. Donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be issued upon receipt of donated items. Please contact Conference Chair, Megan Ackley, to arrange to donate at megan.ackley@oneonta.edu or call (607) 436-2534.
