Mon-Sat. 9 to 6, closed Sundays and major holidays. You may do the walk on Sunday; just call ahead to arrange. The city trail takes you through downtown historic Conneaut, along a Lake Erie beach with a boardwalk, through some sand, through a marina and the historical district. Enjoy a stroll along the beach and an opportunity for bird watching. Bring a picnic lunch and your bathing suit during the summer months. The trail goes by an old train depot that has been turned into a railroad museum; open during the summer. The 5K option takes you from the vineyard to a restored covered bridge and a waterfall. Taste the wine and cheese from this outstanding vineyard. Say hello to Arnie, the owner, and Linda, the sales clerk there. (The dogs at the Vineyard are big but very tame! ) Free parking.
