Jeff Caulfield of National Geographic Maps will show you, step-by-step, how to use your GPS with TOPO! Outdoor Recreation mapping software to plan your next day hike or backcountry adventure.
As Jeff takes you through a simple trip-planning exercise, he?ll discuss the "on the trail" applications of GPS, and give you a variety of tips on how to use a GPS in the navigation process. You'll be surprised at how easy GPS navigation can be! Everyone who attends will receive a free DVD, ?Basic Map and GPS Skills?, courtesy of National Geographic.
