Power 105.1, New York's R&B and only the best Hip-Hop music station is looking for the Next R&B Superstar: an unsigned New York-area band or solo artist who has what it takes to make it. The winning artist or band will play live on stage at Power 105.1's Concert at Six Flags Great Adventure, is showcased on Power 105.1's Sunday night "New in NY" show and records a single for eOne Music!

The Top 15 music artists with the most Demands will move to the semifinals where a music industry A-list panel of judges will select 5 finalists. Fans will vote on the final winner from the Top 5 finalists. Make sure to add as many links and YouTube videos of your music on your Eventful performer profile!

In order to participate, your band must (adjust accordingly if you're a solo artist):

• All live within Power 105.1's listening area (what's this?)
• Have no more than one member over the age of 30 by August 20, 2012
• All be 13 or older
• Have no more than 7 band members
• Understand that the winner will be responsible for transportation to the event
• Not be under a recording contract with or distributed by a major record label (top 4)
• Be legal residents of the United States
