Description
The remarkable story of how one man ran New York and inspired millions to do the same. Chronicling Fred Lebow's revolutionary creation of the NYC marathon, the film uses archival footage along with interviews with some of the greats of the running world.
Immediately following the screening there will be a Q & A session with Bill Rodgers, 4 time winner of the NYC Marathon, Judd Ehrlich, Director of the film, Allan Steinfeld, former President & CEO of the NYRRC and Director of the NYC Marathon and Bernie Cooper, former COB of the NYRRC.
Admission: Suffolk Y members $5.00; non-members $7.50.
