Photography Tour

Come photograph the concentrations of wintering waterfowl and other wildlife at the Rufuges of the Scaramento National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Complex with Refuge Manger Steve Emmons. Whether youre a seasoned or casual nature photographer at the Refuges, these tours are geared to varied interest and skill levels. April 21--Photographing Scaramento Refuge--meet at the Sacramento NWR Visitor Center parking lot. Explore the vernal pools on the Sacramento NWR. Capture vernal pool wildflowers on your camera. We will concentrate on taking scenic and close-up photographs of flowers. Reservations required, space is limited--sign up early. Carpooling required.
