Nationwide Arena is a multi-purpose indoor facility located in Columbus, Ohio's Arena District. The district is lined with various bars and clubs and serves as a major hot spot for Columbus residents. However, amongst all the other live entertainment venues in the area, the Nationwide Arena stands out with its 135-foot light tower, 70-foot glass-enclosed atrium, two 80-foot party suite towers and a smaller ice rink called the Dispatch IceHaus. Since opening in 2000, the Nationwide Arena Columbus has become one of Ohio’s leading venues for sports and live entertainment.
As is the case with most of the great US arenas, the Nationwide Arena is home to a major sports team - the NHL's Columbus Jackets.
