A & R Music Bar

Duality is a major theme at Columbus' A&R Music Bar. Unlike other venues owned by PromoWest, the bar aims to both provide a comfortable environment to watch scheduled performers, as well as brag a little bit with memorabilia from their twenty-five years in the concert industry. The "A" and "R" in A&R Music Bar stands for two things: Artist and repertoire, signifying the way the company promotes music local musicians in different stages of their career. The second being art and rock, representing not only the amazing music PromoWest has provided Columbus, but the culture they've inspired in the town.

A&R Music Bar is located on Neil Avenue in the Arena District, upstairs from the Basement and next to a sister venue, the LC Pavilion. The bar was designed by the same people responsible for the creative designs and artwork of PromoWest's design department, and features art and pictures from some of the company's biggest concerts. While huge, national acts play at the LC Pavilion, A&R Music Bar schedules mainly local and beginning musicians, helping to foster them in a comfortable bar atmosphere. The bar provides the simplest level of PromoWest's entertainment, with great bands, cold drinks, and delicious Boston's pizza.
